Adani Foundation distributes cycles among 7 students in Hazaribag

As part of the Gondalpara mining project, Adani Foundation distributed branded cycles in the office premises among children of different villages of Barkagaon block on Tuesday.

The exercise took place as part of corporate social responsibility. As many as seven boys and girls had trouble coming to school to study. These children had to walk from their villages to attend Harli Plus Two High School. Now the cycle will save time for children studying in classes X and XII. These children from Gondalpura, Balodar, and Gali villages looked very happy after getting the bike.

Adani Foundation also plans to provide all possible assistance to the students of the affected villages of the project in the coming days. The Adani Foundation has appointed two special science teachers to the government-aided Harli Plus Two High School to teach the students around the clock. Due to the unavailability of science teachers at this school, the children's education was hampered.

Adani Foundation continues to fulfill its social responsibilities in various villages of Barkagaon block. The foundation recently accepted 70 new TB patients. Most of the 60 TB patients previously admitted have recovered. The foundation recently provided free eye examinations to 39 patients and distributed free glasses to them.

Apart from this, Adani Foundation organizes free health camps in villages where they provide medicines and proper counseling to the people.
